According to the National Bureau of Statistics of 521 plastic machinery manufacturing enterprises, as opposed to some of the ups and downs of the industry, in 2009 China's plastics machinery manufacturing industry seems calm response: output value of 25.848 billion yuan, down 2.9%; sales value of 25.085 billion yuan, down 0.18%; export delivery value of 3.646 billion yuan, down 33.91%; new product output value of 3.262 billion yuan, an increase of 8.4%; sales rate was 97.43%, up 2.65%. But in fact, in the last year, the industry has experienced unprecedented ups and unrest. Under the dual impact of the international financial crisis on China's and India's anti-dumping injection molding machine, China's plastics machinery industry hit bottom in March last year, the month industrial output fell by 31.33 percent, but has since rebounded strongly. As of the end of 2009, representing a growth rate of plastic machinery industry and industrial sales value of industrial output rebounded from -31.33%, respectively, and 28.2% in March to 79.31% and 84.95% in December.

  　  China Plastic Machine Industry Association Secretary-General Su Tung Ping last year, six months after the development of the industry to give praise: While last year's plastics machinery manufacturing industrial output value and sales value declined slightly year on year, but entering the fourth quarter, the gross industrial output value, sales value, the output value of new products have achieved rapid growth, particularly of the indicators in December or whether it is up more than 20% qoq growth are developed. Among them, the new product output in December rose 170.76%, growth of 72.8%; December yoy export value also been negative to positive, an increase of 23.15%, growth of 22.73%. Domestic equipment market share in the domestic plastics machinery rapid increase of 48.52% from 2008 to 2009 of 70.52%.

    　Su Tung Ping is expected this year, the per capita consumption of plastics in North America will reach 145 kg; EU per capita plastics consumption will reach 132 kg; while per capita consumption of plastics will reach 22.8 kg, the developed countries is only about 1/6. Potential for future development of China's plastics industry is huge, expected 2010 growth rate of China's plastics machinery demand will reach 12%.
